Hello, My husband was diagnosed in November 2006 and was given the usual prognosis of 6 to 9 months. However, he is still around today and so far so good. I would love to hear from other patients or carers so we can perhaps compare notes and help each other. Thank you.

Hi Chatterbox Thanks for logging onto the website. I was diagnosed last year, on 13th November to be exact and given the same prognosis 6-9 months and am still here feelijg the same as I did last year. I had a VATS op and that changed a lot for me. I was releived of pain and breathlesness became a lot less than what it was. I bought myself a christmas tre in January for a challenge and am so [leased to see that I may even see it up. No expert can say how long we have, they generalise about things. I would love to talk to you more. Contact me via email phu_phita@hotmail.com or mbile 07816824113 Debbie
